In grief, especially early grief, our brain is busy trying to make sense of a major traumatic event that has just happened. This can go on for a long time.
While we are struggling with the event and its impact on our life, our brain can come up with the weirdest things.
Just remember, we are not our thoughts! These grief-generated thoughts are temporary. If we don’t pay them much attention, or attach any judgement to them, they will float on by becoming a silly memory.
