Father's Day 2025

Honouring the men in my life.

My dad died about 12 years ago. While we were not close when I was in our family home, I have come to appreciate all that my dad did in those years. He was a family man. I have two memories of him - one sitting in his easy chair watching TV and the other of him on a ladder on hot summer days painting the sides of the house.

The other man, of course, my husband who died on Father’s Day 6 years ago.

I have put my story of grief in two books: Please Don’t Give Me Something More to Worry About! and 3 Days to do the Laundry. One is my journey through grief and the treasures I found once I dealt with the dragon called Grief. The other is a description of fatigue. These will be available through Amazon in the next few weeks. There are also two journals for those who want to get their thoughts on paper (for the right hand and for the left hand !)

Cathy coaches grievers and now, those who want some help in exploring a current goal/objective.
